Terms of use

Last updated 5 November 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Agbaje Abdullateef, an individual based in Nigeria who runs Tefro ("we"). By using Tefro you agree to them. If you use it for a business, you confirm you're allowed to accept them for that business.

What Tefro is

Tefro is an app for recording sales, stock, staff activity and customer credit, and for keeping those records in step across a shop's phones.

Price

Tefro is free for now. If we introduce charges, we'll tell you at least 30 days before they apply, and you can stop using Tefro instead.

Your account

Your records and your responsibilities

Your shop's records belong to you. You allow us to store and process them only to provide Tefro, as described in the privacy policy.

You're responsible for:

Acceptable use

Don't use Tefro for anything illegal or fraudulent, or to harass anyone. Don't try to reach another shop's records, break its security, overload it, or copy it to build a competing product.

Offline use and sync

Sales made offline stay only on that phone until it syncs. If a phone is lost, broken or reset, or the app is removed before it syncs, those records can be lost. Connect your phones regularly.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Tefro running and backed up, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors, so keep your own copy of records that matter, such as a printed end-of-day report. We may change or stop features. If we plan to shut Tefro down, we'll give you reasonable notice so you can take your records.

Ending your use

You can stop at any time and delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, and we'll tell you why unless the law prevents it.

Our responsibility to you

Tefro is provided "as is". As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses such as lost profit, lost business or uncollected debts. Our total liability is limited to what you paid us for Tefro in the 12 months before the problem, or ₦50,000 if that's higher.

Nothing here removes rights you have by law that can't be removed, or our liability for fraud.

Governing law

Nigerian law applies to these terms. Please contact us first so we can try to sort out any problem. If we can't, the courts of Nigeria will decide.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we'll update the date above. If a change matters, we'll tell you first. Continuing to use Tefro after that means you accept the new terms.
